Most of the PA system is brand spank'n new.  We got it directly from Carvin and, obviously, it's all Carvin brand equipment.  In the tradition of being loud, we chose a setup that would work for practices, jams, and then some.
The DCM1500 1,500 watt amp  pushes two large 1583 3-way speakers.  Each speaker has a 15" woofer, 8" midrange and titainum horn tweeter.  On the front end, we have a SM162 16-channel mixer consisting of 8 regular channels and 4 stereo channels.  This thing packs a punch with sound that'll rip right though you, clean and undistorted.  Even us, the Garage Crowd, have been unsucessful at turning gain on the amplifier past 50%.
The rest of the PA consists of what's left of Fraken PA.  The speaker box contains two 10" Electro Voice speakers and an 18" Peavey Black Widow subwoofer.  We're still in the market for an amp. and  a crossover for this box.  For the mean time, it's using a whole made crossover (a RC network before the amp) and one of the .
Of corse, the PA doesn't do much without sound going into it.  When we ordered the PA, Carvin threw in two CM68 mics. for free, and we have a Panasonic microphone a well.  Wanker has two guitars: an Ibanez electric and a 1968 Gibson hollow body (nice).  He uses a DOD Tec8 effects peddle.  Tazz has two basses: A Kramer Striker and Peavey Milestone II, who was built from the parts of other dead basses (it's cool!).  Que has a Krog X5 keyboard and ratty drum set which consists of parts of two crap sets combine into one.  About as all we know about the drums is that the heads are Evans.
With the aquisition of the PA, the pratice amps everyone used don't do too much.  However, they are useful as moniters for playing out and recording.  We have a Peavey Rage 108 (a little guy), a Peavey Bandit 112 and a Peavey Deuce VT Series 212 tube amp.
For recording, we use a beat up old Cyrix 6x86-200 super costom computer that's been upgraded umpteen billion times sence the dawn of time.  It's Garage complient, compleat with duct tape, drywall screws and it hasn't had the case cover in years.
Lastly, of course, we have an entire arsinal of patch cables, extenuation cords and speaker cable.  One of the places supling us with these things are localy owned Paradise Guitar and Voigt Music Center.   The others I refuse to mention because they're large, bloated corporate commies who wouldn't carry our music if we ever wanted to sell it because that wouldn't be a good Christian thing to do.  No sir, they don't need mentioning.

Note: I linked everything I could find that had a WEB page.  We're not endorsing or affiliated with any of these companies-- just showing who makes what we use.
